THE MUDDY RIVER MARATHON
Community. Health. Fun.
Our 26.2 mile, 13.1 mile and half marathon relay courses, wind through Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The community and sponsor support results in an excellent race day experience for all participants.
The race's proceeds benefit local non-profits who improve the health and well-being of those who call Southeast Missouri home. Since the race's inception, over $40,000 has been donated to charities.
We believe that fitness equals happiness, and encourage our participants to challenge their bodies while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
RUN WILD
Embrace the Race Theme
The Muddy River Marathon is more than just a race. It’s a unifying event that not only brings us together but also deepens and strengthens the roots of our community.
It is a journey that takes us past the river and beyond, far away from the concrete jungles of a big city, and allows us to truly experience the freedom and beauty that Southeast Missouri has to offer. The excitement of facing a challenge head-on and coming out stronger on the other side. It allows us to break free. It allows us to Run Wild.
